1. Controller

2. Hosting & server log files

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany ("Strato"); the servers are located in Germany. When the site is accessed, the server automatically collects technical access data (so-called server log files): IP address, date/time, page accessed, amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system. This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). A data-processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR is to be concluded with Strato (provided by Strato in the customer area).

3. Cookies & local storage

We only set cookies or use your browser's local storage (localStorage) where this is necessary for the respective function:

• Necessary (no consent): storing your theme choice (light/dark) and your cookie decision. This data stays in your browser and is not transmitted to us.
• Marketing / affiliate (only with consent): tracking by affiliate networks or shops so that purchases made via our links can be attributed. These are only set once you agree in the cookie banner.

Legal basis for necessary cookies: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR resp. § 25 (2) TDDDG. For marketing cookies: your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR / § 25 (1) TDDDG, revocable at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

4. Affiliate programmes

We participate in affiliate programmes (e.g. affiliate networks and individual online shops). If you click a labelled affiliate link and make a purchase at the partner, the partner can use a cookie to recognise that the referral came via us and attribute a commission to us. Which data the respective partner processes is governed by its own privacy policy.

No affiliate tracking cookies are active at present. As soon as specific affiliate networks or shops are integrated, we will name them here and link to their privacy notices.

5. Product data from shop feeds

The product data, prices and images shown come from affiliate/shop feeds and contain no personal data about you. Ratings – if displayed – are reproduced only in aggregate and without reference to individual people.
